Dear Mr. Narayanan,

Life is, of course, like accounts.

Passing CA is not possible unless you wedded to it through a proper
prism. A bird's eyeview is a macro vision. When you are faced with
reality, it is a microscopic concept and also as called micro
approach.

Here again, viewing is different from objective viewing.

Those days, when computer was unheard of, we used to burn mid night
oil. Until you get the trial balance reconcile, you have a mental
warfare trying for the cause. It does't end up with a reconciled trial
balance, the external auditor those days, used their visionary lense
to assess the accuracy of your accounts employing broad techniques
including those we learn in management accounting. That is why, they
were mentors for their strong skills and abstract knowledge in their
finger tips.

A missing link in your version is that mentor, I mean someone
responsible for the rise of the objective in you. Every one follows a
role model based on some strong ideology. That role model one will try
to emulate. Otherwise, one should be an extra ordinary birth for extra
ordinary achievements are always associated with them.

Regards,
Sivakumar
